PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness and graininess by combining a color negative contg. a cyan coupler in the green sensitive layer with photographic paper for activation treatment contg. a magenta coupler in the red sensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A color negative image is printed on color photographic paper having a red sensitive layer combined with a magenta coupler, a green sensitive layer combined with a yellow coupler and a blue sensitive layer combined with a cyan coupler and contg. a color developing agent or its precursor in a hydrophilic colloidal layer from a color negative having a red sensitive layer combined with a yellow coupler, a green sensitive layer combined with a cyan coupler and a blue sensitive layer combined with a magenta coupler. The photographic paper is then activated with alkali. The combinations except that of the green sensitive layer of the negative and that of the red sensitive layer of the paper may be changed.
