Device for mounting a propulsing unit (12) on a floating vehicle (13), wherein at least one lifting jack (18) of the propulsing unit is connected to the floating vehicle and to the propulsing unit by connection means comprising at least one joint (19), characterized in that said joint (19) comprises an axial safety pin intended to brake in case of a violent shock on the propulsing unit (12). The invention also relates to a floating vehicle provided with such device. Application particularly to dredgers.
