PURPOSE:To achieve measurement at narrow and high places without danger of electric shock or the like by sliding a knob on a control rod with a clamp meter set thereon and measuring current value of an electrified wire. CONSTITUTION:At the tip of a control rod 5, a clamp meter comprising a 6, a trigger 7, a range selector knob 8, and a range scale 9 is set at a case fixing section. The control rod 5 is held at this side of an allowable length indicator 12 and then, a knob 14 is pulled to this side. With the movement of the control rod 5, a control shaft 4 and a slide shaft 2 shafts and a tooth wheel 1 turns to push a trigger 7, causing the core 6 to open. Then, an electric wire to be measured is grasped to measure and a scale 9 is read. After the measurement, the knob 14 is pulled to this side to remove the electric wire being measured. For the measurement of current at high places, the trigger 7 and the core 6 are provided on the head section and the knob 8 and the scale 9 are positioned closer to hand on the control rod 5 whereby a remote control can be done. |
