PURPOSE:To execute a proofreading work of a Japanese sentence easily and quickly, by providing an instruction code generating mechanism whose controlling object is information extending from a cursor display position to a comma or a full stop. CONSTITUTION:A cursor moving key 1 is keyed and a cursor is moved to a coordinate position[(n) lines and 7 columns]of a display A before proofreading. Subsequently, when a comma controlling key 9 is keyed, a prescribed instruction code is generated from the keyboard and is transmitted to a controlling circuit, therefore, the controlling circuit erases the information between the coordinate position[(n) lines and 7 columns]of the display A before proofreading and a coordinate position[(n) lines and 20 columns], simultaneously edits and processes information after a coordinate position[(n) lines and 21 columns], and displays a display B after proofreading on the CRT. Accordingly, such editing and processing as the display B after proofreading are executed simply by keying the comma controlling key 9 only once after operating the cursor moving key 1. |
