The automatic metering-monitoring device for an electromechanical balance with coarse-stream and fine-stream feed has a metering slide (5) for the coarse stream, a metering-time controller, a first change-over switch for different filling weights and a second change-over switch for the residual emptying. The filling material is fed from a supply container (1) to an inflow funnel (2) equipped, above the metering slide (5), with a level sensor (4) which, when the filling quantity in the inflow funnel (2) corresponding to the height of the level sensor falls below the desired value, transmits a signal to an evaluation unit of the control. The metering slide (5) is shown in this basic position in the drawing and can be moved continuously into different operating positions by means of a drive (6). A weighing container (11) is arranged underneath the outflow orifice (7) to which flaps (8 and 9) are assigned. When the filling quantity in the inflow funnel falls below the level sensor (4), the metering slide and the metering-time controller are moved into their previously determined basic-position values via a signal transmitted to an evaluation unit of the control. These basic-position values are also assumed when the first change-over switch is actuated in order to set another filling weight. When a residual emptying is initiated by means of a second change-over switch, the memory of the automatic afterflow controller is erased. <IMAGE>
