PURPOSE:To achieve a contactless detection of angle displacement by arranging a detection member which is pivoted at a fixing position so as to vary freely in the angle displacement while magnetized lengthwise and a means of detecting the angle displacement thereof. CONSTITUTION:As a coil 2 is excited, a core 1 is magnetized and turned to a magnetic pole at the upper portion 1a thereof. This allows the tip 22 of the lower portion 12b and the upper portion 12a linto a magnetic pole in a detection member 12 made of a highly permeable material. Magnetic line of force generated at the tip 22 vertically enters the surface 23 of a test object 20 of a high magnetic permeability. Therefore, the detection member 12 displaces in the angle around a pivot shaft 10 so as to be vertical to the surface 23. The angle displacement is detected with light receiving elements 17 and 18 thereby enabling contactless detection of the angle displacement of the test object 20. |
