PURPOSE:To obtain a stable laser output without changes in inputted power for discharge by a method wherein a deoxidating agent is provided in an air tight container housing a CO2 gas laser. CONSTITUTION:A deoxidating agent 9 is positioned with an air tight container 8 wherein a CO2 gas laser device is housed consisting of an anode 1, a bar shaped cathode 2, a discharging section 3, a metal net 4, a heat exchanger 5, an axial flow blower 6, and a flow passage 7. O2 generated by CO2 dissociation or a trace of the same element penetrating into the sealed container out of the atmosphere can be removed due to the deoxidating agent 9. This setup ensures a fluctuation free input voltage applied to the discharging section 3 and a stable laser output. |
