PURPOSE:To improve the leak-proof performance by applying the mixed solution where specific seal agent is dissolved in an organic agent at the sealing portion of an alkali cell. CONSTITUTION:A seal agent is applied on a packing placed between the sealing portion or an anode can and a cathode can in an enclosed alkali cell. Here the sealing agent is such that a blown asphalt, polypropelene, epoxy resin and a epoxy resin hardening agent is dissolved by an organic solution such as benzene alkyl derivative. It is preferable that the blown asphalt mixed with rubber is 10-80wt%, isotatic polypropylene is 5-30wt%, epoxy resin is 20-80wt%, epoxy resin hardening agent 20-80wt%. |
