<p>The horizontal monolithic surface e.g. a floor is constructed by placing precast slabs (19) between at least two supports (1) and casting a layer of concrete (24) on top. The supports (1) contain at least one composite beam (2) made up of upper (7,8) and lower (9,10) metallic elements which are surrounded by elastic reinforcement (3,4). Concrete (5) is cast through the gap (21) between the upper elements (7,8) into openings (22) and spreads up against shuttering panels (17). The beam supports the weight of the shuttering panels (17) and the concrete until the concrete has dried and is able to support the slabs and finishing layer.</p> |
