A video game system uses several digital memories to store data that can be rapidly mixed to generate audio and video information. The input switching stage (1) is coupled to a programmable time base unit (2) that cycles a shift register (3) to give access to a number of parallel digital memories. The mixed outputs of the memories are fed to a digital analogue converter (5) to provide input to the display unit (7) and the audio stage (9). |
