PURPOSE:To prevent a pressure roller from moving more than neccessary and to facilitate an operation at a reset time, by mounting a stopper member to a lower carriage. CONSTITUTION:A carriage for ink jet printer is constituted such that an operating part is placed on an upper carriage, and a carriage driving wire is streched at a lower carriage, the upper and lower carriage are separated as the stretching condition of the carriage driving wire is maintained, and this causes the ink jet head for the upper carriage to be easily removed. In said carriage for ink jet printer, a stopper pins 50 are attached to the lower carriage 20. When the upper and the lower carriage are separated, the pins 50 checks pressure rollers 22 so that they move within a certain range, and this prevents the pressure rollers 22 from moving to an unexpected position and facilitates operations to reset the upper and the lower carriage. |
