PURPOSE:To enable to flow condensate water smoothly in a heat exchanger without affecting the heat transmitting performance, by employing such an arrangement that corrugated fins to be stretched perpendicularly to the length of a flat heat transfer tube are arranged with some inclination angle, instead of arranging the same horizontally. CONSTITUTION:A flat heat transfer tube 11 is bent continuously in a zigzagged manner, so that a plurality of straight tube sections 11a, 11b-11n are formed in parallel with each other to extend vertically with uniform intervals. Corrugated fins 12 are extended between adjacent two straight tube sections and their turning points 12' are welded thereto. Here, arrangement is such that fin plates 112a, 112b before forming corrugation thereto are not rectangular but are shaped in the form of an inclined parallelogram. Resultantly, corrugated fins 12 are welded to the straight tube sections 11a, 11b-11n at their bent point or joining points 12' on the opposit sides of the corrugated fins 12 at an angle theta to the length L of the straight tube sections, in the manner that air flow A descends toward the downstream side. Similarly, unit fin surfaces 12a are also arranged to have downward inclination. |
