<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the effluent of resin from all sides of a base material when molding it by lamination by means of hot press by a method in which a resin varnish is coated on the base material except for the both side edges and widthwise portion to be cut off of the base material, and then after the resin varnish is dried, the widthwise portion is cut off. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin varnish 2 is supplied from a resin varnish storage 6 to a pick-up roll 4, where the resin varnish 2 is coated on a base material 1, e.g., paper, glass fiber, etc., being passed through a coating roll 5 and a back-up roll 15. In this case, since the distance between the liquid storage guides 13 is smaller than the width of the base material 1, no resin varnish 2 is coated on the both side edges of the base material 1 and also on the widthwise portion corresponding to a groove 3 provided in the coating roll 5. Then, the base material 1 is dried by heating and then cut off at a fixed dimension of the widthwise portion where no resin varnish 2 is coated. Because no resin varnish 2 is coated on all sides of the base material 1, no effluent of the resin varnish 2 is generated.</p> |
