<p>PURPOSE:To confirm the key operation, by detecting an operation state of an audio synthesizer and outputting an oscillating sound independently of the audio synthesizer, in an audeo typewriter. CONSTITUTION:A character corresponding to a key is displayed on a display 2 every time a keyboard 1 is operated, and audio information from a memory 3 corresponding to the key operation is given to a synthesis circuit 4 at a control section 6. A synthesized audio indicating a character is outputted to a speaker 5 from the circuit. In this case, an operation detecting circuit 7 detects that the control section 6 continues to designate the address of the memory 3, and a busy signal is transmitted to an oscillation circuit 8. The circuit 8 operates an one shot circuit 10 with a key signal and the busy signal from the keyboard 1 to output an audible tone from an oscillator 12 to the speaker 5 for a short time. Thus, the key operation is made with a shorter interval than the time required for the audio synthesized output, and even if no synthesized tone is uttered, the operation of key can be confirmed with other audible tones.</p> |
