<p>The machine develops colour films and papers automatically. A gearbox drives a flexible cable which slides in holes lined up on a comb. This cable frees arms driven by their own weight around a common axis. The arms are joined to soft pipes, each distributing a certain amount of liquid. The space in which the arms can drop is adjustable as a function of the number of spacer plates required. Shorter arms produce flow in a second trough driving a gutter emptier. The gutter is emptied by a siphon pipe on a tank.</p> |
