PURPOSE:To ensure the recording and display for a long period of time, by dividing the effective screen of a color CRT into two parts and displaying an ordinary picture on one of the two screens with a picture compressed in terms of time displayed on the other screen respectively. CONSTITUTION:The whole of an upper screen 1 moves to the left with every input of a new echo, and the first echo signal is recorded at the left corner of the screen 1. After this, plural echo signals are compressed from the first echo and transferred to the right end of a lower screen 3. The part of a transferred upper screen 2 is blank. When this blank part is filled, the plural echo signals are compressed and transferred to the screen 3. After this, some old echo signals of the screen 2 are put together and recorded on the screen 3. |
