<p>Parent patent described a welding jig using two guide-supports for aligning workpieces at a desired angle. In this addn. a triangular support plate is used with two edges bent upwards and aligned at a specific angle w.r.t. each other. Each edge is aligned at 90 deg. w.r.t. a slot in the plate. Each slot is used to locate a clamping jaw and also the eccentric shaft of a circular clamping block. The rotation of the block moves the jaw towards a workpiece. The jaws clamp workpieces against the upturned edges of the support plate. The clamping jaws are reversible, and can be used to clamp a variety of workpieces, e.g. angle iron or tube.</p> |
