PURPOSE:To obtain a damper suitable for piezoelectric oscillators, by mixing particles or powder of >=2 substances with different specific gravity to curing agent such as epoxy resin or rubber and forming a deposit layer according to the specific gravity. CONSTITUTION:Particles or powder 10 of a substance with greater specific gravity such as iron, tungesten or ferrite, and particles or powder 11 of a substance with a smaller specific gravity and an attenuation capacity for ultrasonic waves such as cork or rubber are mixed with curing agent such as epoxy resin or rubber 12. After mixing, the mixture is left for a specified time to obtain a cured damper 5 where the substance 10 with greater specific gravity is deposited at the lower part and the substance 11 with smaller specific gravity is deposited at the upper part. The substance with smaller specific gravity of the damper is bonded to an ultrasonic wave oscillator, allowing to decrease the Q of the oscillator and to increase the damper effect. |
