PURPOSE:To reduce the particle sizes of emulsified liquid drops much smaller sizes than those in the prior art by forming agitating plates in a bowl shape having small holes in an agitator which emulsifies a number of kinds of different liquids finely. CONSTITUTION:Plural agitating vanes of an umbrella shape or a bowl shape are mounted to a revolving shaft 5 in a stationary cylindrical tank 2, and a large number of small holes 7 are provided to the vanes 3. Projecting parts 4 are provided thereto in order to increase the flow resistance of liquids with the inside surface of the tank 2 and the outside surfaces of the vanes 3. A mixture of different kinds of liquids is introduced through the lower inlet 1 of such cylindrical tank 2 and the vanes 3 are revolved at a high speed with a motor 6. Since the area of the vanes is larger than that of flat plates, the liquids are throughly sheared and mixed while passing through a large number of the small holes 7, and are removed as the emulsified liquid consisting of fine liquid drops of <=1mu diameter through an upper outlet 8. |
