The invention relates to servo and control units for hydrostatic radial-piston pumps/motors having at least one motion converter which serves to change the displacement of the working pistons. Said servo and control unit is arranged detachably on the radial-piston machine and is provided with servo pistons which clamp the motion converter in a non-positive manner. The object of the invention is to provide a servo and control unit which, on the basis of minimum transverse forces acting on the servo pistons, ensures advantageous wear and vibration characteristics, alignment of the motion converter during operation and the ability of fitting components for various functions. This object is achieved by means of a cover, which is arranged on the casing of the radial-piston machine and which has an inner chamber, for accommodating, in a movable manner, a follower pin of the motion converter and separate bearing bushes, which are arranged detachably outside on both sides in the direction of movement of the motion converter and serve for accommodating the servo pistons. The field of application of the invention relates to servo and control systems for continuously variable hydrostatic radial-piston machines.
