Video magnetic disc replay system - has switching circuit to handle track guidance during change-over of tracks

The video disc recording system has a track guidance system that ensures accuracy of performance during change over from one track to another. The output of the demodulator is fed (11) to a circuit controlled by an input (13) indicating that a pump from one track to another is being made. During normal operation, a switch (24) is closed and the demodulator signal is fed directly to the adder circuit. When the pump signal is applied, switches (27,28) are closed and the normal mode switch (24) opened. The regulating voltage is stored in a capacitor (29). After a specified time the switches open and the normal mode resumes on the required track.
