The solar generator cell comprises a semiconductor photocell (10) which is in good thermal contact with a carrier plate (12), contacted at the opposite side by a coolant stream (16), so that it acts as a heat sink. The thermal contact between the photocell (10) and the carrier plate is obtained via a heat conductive paste (14), also providing galvanic separation between the photocell (10) and the carrier plate (12). The carrier plate is either made from a metal with good heat conduction or incorporates a heat conductive mesh or grid and/or heat conductive particles or a heat conductive layer. The photocell (10) is pref. attached to the carrier plate by spaced adhesive points (18). The solar generator is used for a signalling device, a buoy, a lighting device or a water pump etc. |
