Antiblocking motor vehicle brake control - has separate interacting control valves with independent pressure reservoir
摘要

The antiblocking brake system has a main solenoid brake valve (4) between the master brake cylinder and the wheel cylinder, normally open. A second inlet valve (10) and a venting valve (8) are interlinked with the main valve in such a way that, when the antiblocking control operates the first valve is closed and the second inlet valve operates from a separate pressure reservoir (11). The brake control cycles are independent of the pressure in the servo-reservoir and enable a controlled braking to be achieved. The vented brake pressures, between the modulation cycles, are set at given levels so that the brakes are not fully released and provide maximum brake effect. PS.
