A raw material contg. malodorous gases or noxious components was supplied to a drying drum without directly contacting with the combustion gas. Dried air at 70-200≦̸C was introduced into the drying drum to evap. water and malodorous gas or noxious component. Thus, chicken manure(950kg) contg. 78 % water was dried at 115-142≦̸C with dried air for 150 min. to decrease the moisture content into 61≦̸C. This chicken manure contained the several kinds of Bacillus suitable for use as fertilizer.
