A device for the continuous controlling of the geometry of laminated products comprises, in particular, a measurement unit (1), an evaluation unit (2) and a unit (3) for communication between the measuring procedure and the operator. The three units are connected together. A source (1.0) of rays with a pronounced penetration capability forms the end of an extendable support (1.1); a plurality of sensors (1.2; 1.3; 1.4) are fixed by extendable supports to a ring (1.5) which can rotate about its axis, and the supports can perform a rotational movement in addition to the translational movement. The source and the sensors are arranged in a plane substantially perpendicular to the axis of a section being rolled and about the latter. Each support comprises an individual remote control which adjusts its position either by a combined translational and rotational movement or by a purely translational or rotational movement respectively.
