发明名称 MEASURING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR WALL THICKNESS OF PIPE
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform a high-precise measurement by means of a simple device, by a method wherein, when a pipe is caused to pass through along a surface of a propagating medium, it, simultaneously, is irradiated with ultrasonic pulse to detect a reflection wave from the outer periphery surface of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:Each one of pipes 17, 17 is fed out by gate plates 24 and 25, and is conveyed to a measuring part 21 by a press conveying unit 16. In synchronism with said conveyance, a pulse signal is outputted to a transmitting and receiving circuit 9 from a operational control part 6. An ultrasonic transducer 8 is driven by means of a pulse signal from a transmitting and receiving circuit 9, and an irradiation with ultrasonic wave is provided toward an outer periphery surface 46 of the pipe 17 is received by the ultrasonic transducer 8 and is converted into an electric signal. The electric signal is inputted to the operational control part 6b through the transmitting and receiving circuit 9 to find the wall thickness of the pipe 17.
