PURPOSE:To adjust the attitude of fibers, stretch the flex and improve the orientation thereof, by means of a resistance means capable of imparting a transfer resistance to fibers transferred by teeth of a combing roller provided in the transfer path. CONSTITUTION:A resistance means for imparting a resistance to transferred fibers 9 is provided in a part (A) of a fiber transferring route in a region from a part for feeding the fibers 9 to a combing roller 4 to a fiber stripping region in a fiber feeding channel 6. Grooves 11 in plural rows or static electricity generating apparatus or protruding ridges extending in the width direction of the combing roller 4 are used as the resistance means. The flex ends of the fibers 9 are stretched by the resistance means to be straight as shown by fibers 9'.
