PURPOSE:To process a lot of instructions simultaneously, to reduce a load of a CPU, and to easily execute a retry, a checking operation, etc. in case when there is a data error, by transferring in the lump an instruction and a data divided into blocks, from the CPU. CONSTITUTION:A CPU1 reads out to a main storage device 2 commands 1-N and data 1-N stored in the blocks in its device, gives an instruction for transferring them to peripheral equipments 7-10, and provides the readout block-like commands and data 1-N to a channel devide 3. A control table 4 of the instruction block is provided in the inside of this device 3, the first address of the readout commands 1-N, the number of the following instructions, etc, are collated with the control table 4, and are transferred in the lump in a block state to specific peripheral equipments 7-10 through a control device 5 or 6. In this way, a lot of instructions can be processed by a transfer control of once, a load of the CPU1 is reduced, and a retry, a checking operation, etc. are executed easily. |
