PURPOSE:To perform an optimum control automatically, by designing a controller which holds a target value so that the control area of the control quantity is minimum and adding a square root element, where characteristics for the change of a load satisfy a prescribed equation, to this controller. CONSTITUTION:An operation quantity (m) of a controller 22 is so adjusted that the control quantity is held in a target value (r) for a load (v) applied to a process having characteristics of the gain, a time constant T, and a loss time L. The controller 22 is so designed that the control area of the control quantity of the controller 22 is minimum, and a square root element H which satisfies equation 1 for respective characteristics R, T, and L for the change of the load (v) is inserted to the controller 22. A signal 3 of the controller 22 is applied to three multiplying elements V through the element H to convert respective characteristics R, T, and L, thus performing an optimum adaptive control automatically. |
