<p>PURPOSE:To prevent paper jam, by changing over positions for opening or closing a nipping blade in 2 steps, and enabling a printing paper to be held at an optional position of a pressing cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A roller 15 closes a nipping blade 12 when the roller 15 moves from the larger diameter periphery of a nonrotary cam 13b to the smaller diameter periphery of the cam 13a, and the end of a printing paper 6a is held on a pressing cylinder 4 with rotation of the cylinder 4. When the cylinder 4 rotates and the roller 15 reaches the larger diameter periphery of the cam 13a, the blade 12 opens to release the paper 6a. When it is necessary to feed paper from another cassette with a paper feed roller 8b, a cam 18 is rotated to rotate the cam 13b through a crank 17 and a gear 21, thus changing a position for closing the blade 12.</p> |
