PURPOSE:To reduce the error of measurement, by setting a projecting part and a light receiving part opposite to each other centering on a rotor that has a light transmitting part and a light shielding part, turning the rotor according to a subject of measurement and then measuring the subject of measurement from the number of the obtained intermittent beams. CONSTITUTION:The current is flowed to a coil 5 to cause a magnetic field, and a rotor 1 made of a metal is turned by a mutual function of the above- mentioned magnetic field and a produced eddy current. Thus the light given from a projecting part 3 is intermittently received at a light receiving part 4. This received light is fed to a pulse counter 5, and the number of intermissions per unit time is displayed at a display 6. This displayed value is collated with a current value obtained previously to obtain the current value, i.e. the subject of measurement. |
