PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition outstanding in spinnability and film formability, suitable for oxide ceramic fibers, etc., by polymerization between at least one kind of organometallic compound in specific such group and at least one kind of organometallic compound in a second specific such group under their hydrolyzable conditions. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by polymerization between (A) at least one kind of organometallic compounds of formulas I and II (m is 1 or 2; n is 1; R is alkyl or cyclopentadienyl; X is halogen or hydroxyl group; Ma is tetravalent metal; Mb is trivalent metal) (e.g., trichloromethylsilane, trimethylaluminum dichloride) and (B) at least one kind of organometallic compounds of formulas III, IV and V (R<1> is alkyl, aryl, vinyl, etc.; R<2> is alkyl; p is 0-2; q is 0 or 1; Mc is tetravalent metal; Md is trivalent metal; Me is divalent metal) under their hydrolyzable conditions. |
