When rolled up, a cover, of the roller shutter type, wound up on a spindle, is mounted in an accommodating area separated off from the pool itself in a swimming-pool. The accommodating space (4) has a sealing flap (10) facing the pool area, swung between closed and open positions with the aid of a pneumatic device. The flap can comprise two lengthways spars (11,13) linked by cross spars (14), one lengthways spar swivelling (12), and the other hollow and containing an air tube, large enough for the flap's buoyancy to exceed force of gravity when it is inflated.
