<p>The toaster or grill uses a heating element with a heating conductor which is bare of insulating with a glass ceramic plate (7,7') separating the heating element (6,6') from the food being cooked. Pref. the food is inserted between a pair of glass ceramic plates (7,7') with a respective heating element (6,6') positioned behind each of them. A reflector (11) for the heat radiation is pref. positioned behind each of the heating elements (6,6'). The toaster or grill may be in two halves (1,2) each incorporating a heating element (6,6') with one of them being hinged for insertion and remoVal of the food.</p> |
