PURPOSE:To ensure a fine test of an input/output interface with high efficiency by defining a working condition setting indication signal to make a test device identify said indication signal and switching the operation to a mode where the working conditions are set. CONSTITUTION:A command is produced by a CPU 11 to an input/output control device 12 via a system bus 10 to set a control line 16 contained in an input/ output interface signal line 14 at a specific signal state. Thus the working conditions are set at a test device 13. An input/output control circuit 17 of the device 12 sets a signal state defined as a working condition setting indication signal to the line 16 in reply to said command. A decoder 18 of the device 13 detects said specific signal state if emerging on the line 16 and selects the corresponding one of control registers 19 to set a state where the control information showing the working conditions, i.e., a working condition setting mode. |
