PURPOSE:To obtain said apparatus which is suitable for molding the high quality disk shaped recording medium and can be made small-sized and light-weighted, by equipping the vertical injector to the upper fixed platen of the horizontally opposite molds clamping press. CONSTITUTION:The vertical injector of which the injection cylinder 11 moves vertically is equipped to the upper fixed platen 2 of the horizontally opposite molds clamping press wherein the lower mold 7 attached to the mobile platen 4 is moved up and down to the upper mold 8 for the disk-shaped recording medium attached to the upper fixed platen 2. Material is injected from the central part of the mold 8 to between the upper and lower molds and the molds are clamped and resin material is cooled and solidified after the predetermined time.
