PURPOSE:To discriminate the maintenance of input-output equipment easily by storing the actual process variable of the input-output equipment as logging data and then by outputting the activity state of the input-output equipment by the logging data. CONSTITUTION:A main storage device 5 and a disk controller 3 are connected to input-output equipment 1 through a common bus 4 and an input-output controller 2. The readout part 7 of the input-output equipment 1 reads only necessary information on a document 8 is accordance with a readout format stored previously in a format control part 6, and stores it in a data register 10. Then, numbering circuit 11 numbers the documents 8 serially, and a readout-digit detecting circuit 9 detects the number of digits or lines of the document 8 to be read. Read data from the register 10 and the number of digits, sheets, etc., to be read actually from an activity-stage detecting circuit 12 are stored as logging data in a logging area of a disk device 13, and the data are read out to output the actual activity state of the input-output equipment 1. |
