PURPOSE:To recognize the 3-dimensional information intuitively and accurately, by carrying out a 3-dimensional display like a projection chart with display of a search radar using a pencil beam. CONSTITUTION:A bias generating circuit 51 generates bias signals Si and Sj according to the direction of the deflection angle of the radar beam. The signal Si is subjected to D/A conversion 52 and is added to the sawtooth wave voltage in which the maximum level of voltage, i.e., the output of an X-axis sweep oscillator 54 is equivalent to Rcostheta. In the same way, the signal Sj is subjected to D/A conversion and is added to the sawthooth wave voltage in which the maximum level of voltage, i.e., the output of a Y-axis sweep oscillator 57 is equivalent to Rsintheta. These added voltage are applied to the X- and Y-axes of a CRT56 respectively. Thus the X-, Y- and Z-axes (crossing the X axis with angle theta) show the azimuth, the altitude and the distance respectively. As a result, the video signal supplied to the CRT56 is recognized as the 3-dimensioal information intuitively and accurately. |
