In a method and a device for recovery of heat from the waste water of a building, the waste water is pumped from a container (2) in the waste water system through a heat exchanger (3) to a valve device (5), the valve adjustment of which is controlled depending upon the waste water level in the container. At a predetermined level in the container, the valve adjustment is brought into such a position that the waste water is returned into the container, and, at a predetermined upper waste water level in the container, the water is brought into the outlet (1b) for removal. <IMAGE> |
