An arrangement for cleaning of grain contains at least one screen 36, 37 placed at a slant relative to the horizontal, which receives a falling stream of grain. Co- operating with the screen are means 40, 38, 45 of maintaining an air flow through the screen, which suction the flow of grain against the screen and allow material with comparatively large density to pass, especially weed seeds. Above the screen is arranged a suction inlet 16, 17 whose function is to suction screenings with comparatively low weight from the grain flow, such as husks and the like, while in the vicinity of the suction inlet there is a dampening device 21, 22, which significantly reduces the speed of motion of the grain flow as it passes by the suction inlet. <IMAGE> |
