PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement S/N by setting an input level to a modulator to be low when the distance between a base station and a mobile station is near and to be high in the case of remoting. CONSTITUTION:A received wave 28 is inputted to a receiver 29, demodulated by a demodulator 30 to output a demodulation signal 31. Then a level measuring instrument 32 measures the level of the received wave 28 and the measured value is sent to a controller 33. The controller 33 discriminates whether or not the level is a set value or above based on the measured value, thereby deciding whether or not the mobile station exists in a high transmission quality zone having the set value or above. Moreover, the controller 33 drives a gain variable amplifier 22 based on the result of decision to control the amplification fator, thereby setting the modulator input signal 23. The controller 33 lowers the modulator input signal 23 when the existence in the high transmission quality zone is decided and increases the setting when it is decided that the station exists at the outside of the said zone. |
