A multi-disc brake, particularly for vehicles, of the kind in which interleaved stator (22) and rotor (27) discs are compressed axially to effect braking. The invention provides rotor discs formed from a plurality of discrete circumferentially separated portions (27) releasably mounted in a rotatable member (23) having apertures (24) to permit radial withdrawal of the rotor disc portions (27). |
