PURPOSE:To remove restrictions on the size and mounting method of a wheel by using all floating-type differential gear units to planetary gear decelerators and semi-floating-type planetary gear decelerators to the wheels. CONSTITUTION:The power transmitted from a propeller shaft is transmitted to a drive shaft 24 from a differential gear unit. The shaft 24 is provided with a sun gear 26h and a gear 23a and the gear 26h can drive a wheel through a planetary gear 26a, link gear 26d, planetary pin 26b, and planetary carrier 26c. The gear 23a is engaged with a brake disk 23d which is inserted between a brake ring inner 23e and outer 23f. The disk 23d gangs with the brake pedal operation and is damped by a piston 23j. During damping, the disk stops the transmission mechanism between the shaft 24 and wheel 27. |
