PURPOSE:To increase the display speed and to achieve high resolution, by applying laser light continuously on a thermal write-in liquid crystal light bulb and applying a video signal to the liquid crystal light bulb through the superimposition on a critical voltage. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 21 given from a laser beam source 20 is deflected at an optical deflector 22 and controlled on a liquid crystal light bulb 10 with a lens 23 for linear scanning. A signal P of a linear scanning is inputted to the optical deflector 22 and a video signal Q in synchronizing with the scanning signal P is inputted to the liquid crystal light bulb 10, allowing to record the video signals by scanning lines on the bulb 10. A projection light 26 given from a light source 25 is reflected on a mirror 27 and given on the bulb 10 through a lens 24 to read out a picture on the bulb 10. After this picture passes through the lens 24 and a pin hole 28, it is magnificate projected on a screen 30 with a lens 29. |
