PURPOSE:To avoid abnormal noise and enhance driving efficiency, by setting the material and structure dimension of a movable unit within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The movable unit 10 of an oscillatory wave motor is provided with a ring-formed main unit section 1 formed by an elastic member, a flange section 2 extended from the section 1, and a contact section 3 extended from this flange end section. A ring-formed oscillating unit 4 composing a stator is provided with a plurality of slits 4a on the whole periphery of the upper section of the unit 4, and piezoelectric ceramics 5 generating a progressive oscillatory wave in the direction Z is bonded on the bottom surface of the unit 4 by adhesives. In this case, aluminum or aluminum alloy is used as the material of the movable unit 10, and the dimensions are composed to satisfy the conditions of formulae I-IV. Then, noise can be prevented from being generated, and the motor of high energy efficiency can be formed. |
