<p>The alarm is activated via a switch (12) when the case is closed and is pref. only de-activated via the switch (12) when the case is opened. The alarm pref. comprises an electronic receiver (9) responding to a signal provided by a transmitter carried by the owner of the attache case and actuating an alarm horn (8) upon loss of this signal. Pref. the interior of the attache case has a removable container (7) which holds the alarm device and which fits behind one of the closure catches (5) at either side of the case, the activating switch (12) lying at the back of this catch (5). The latter is pref. operated by a combination lock. The alarm device can form a removable module.</p> |
