<p>PURPOSE:To make the wire rod manufacturing device having a high extrusion pressure in a small size by pressurizing the linear blank fed to the spiral groove of a rotary screw by pulling it in by the differential peripheral speed of the rotary screw and a rotary cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:A linear blank 49 is inserted between a screw 11 and rotary cylindrical body 13 along a spiral groove 17 to rotate the screw 11 and rotary cylindrical body 13 in the same direction at the same speed. A supply stand 47 is rotated as well simultaneously with the screw 11 so that the linear blank 49 may not be twisted. When the rotary speed of the rotary cylindrical body 13 is gradually reduced by the screw 11, the blank 49 is pulled in between the both by the difference in the peripheral speed of the cylindrical body 13 and screw 11. The speed difference from that of the screw 11 is constantly controlled at the time when the rotary speed of the cylindrical body 13 is adequately reduced. The blank 49 receives such a strong pressure as being pulled in to the inner part and the temp. reses as well. The blank is pushed into an annular groove 19, passing through an extrusion passage 37 and extruded from a forming die 45. The blank is extruded to the periphery of the core wire of the die to manufacture the composite wire rod.</p> |
