PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent the outbreak of accidents occuring in the sticking of a resin on an electrode surface by moving an electrode for detecting liquid level vertically by means of a linear motor to put the same in the state of point contact with the liquid surface and recording the position thereof. CONSTITUTION:The respective upper and lower limit positions of a detecting electrode of an electrode unit driven by a linear motor are set by using a control circuit, and further said electrode is moved upward and downward in follow- up to the liquid surface of the molten resin existing in a hopper so as to maintain the state of point contact with the liquid surface and its moving conditions are detected and recorded by using a potentiometer 7. For example, an electrode unit 6 having a detecting electrode 61 is moved upward or downward by means of a linear motor 53 and its position is made convertable and recordable to voltage by the potentiometer 7. The upward and downward moving states of the time when the detecting electrode is oscillated back and forth between the liquid surface and the upper limit position are recorded by using a programmer 10 and relay switches, whereby the supply rate of the resin is measured accurately, and since the electrode and the resin make point contact only, staining accidents are prevented. |
