PURPOSE:To position a head gap accurately with simple constitution by securing a neutral position by rotating a head lever, which mounts heads symmetrically on a fixed rotary shaft, nearly by a half the entire extent of rotation. CONSTITUTION:Through a diamond-shaped piece 70 which moves in one body with the plunger of a solenoid 16, an operating plate 82 which couples with a head lever 12 by a guide pin 86 and a groove 46., the lever 12 which mounts forward and reverse heads 22 and 23 symmetrically on a fixed rotary shaft 18 rotates by coupling with the solenoid plunger. Its extents of rotation in both directions are controlled by projection parts 42 and 43, provided to the lever 12, and a stopper 96 and when the lever 12 is rotated nearly by a half the entire extents of rotation, the heads 22 and 23 are plated at a neutral position. Thus, the heads symmetric on the fixed rotary shaft are switched by the simple constitution which eliminates the need for a slide lever, thereby positioning the head gap of an auto reverse tape recorder accurately. |
