PURPOSE:To measure the dielectric strength within an active region, by supplying a 1/2 power supply voltage to a noninverse input and connecting an inverse input to an output to vary the power supply voltage. CONSTITUTION:An inverse input terminal 3 is connected to an output terminal 4 to form a voltage follower of a 100% feedback. Resistances 8 and 9 constitute a voltage dividing circuit 11 and then function as the bias resistance to divide the voltage VCC of a curve tracer 7 down to 1/2 and then to apply it to a noninverse input terminal 2. Under such conditions, the terminal 4 functions as an amplifier of double voltage gain to the noninverse input 2 to always keep an active state of 0.5VCC. Thus the accurate dielectric strength can be measured in an working region having a stable state of actual use regardless of the value of the voltage VCC. |
